PAYNESVILLE – The Liberia Kickball Federation (LKF) National League is set to climax this Sunday, August 10, 2025, at the SKD Sports Pitch in Paynesville, with a thrilling showdown to crown the 2025/2026 champions.
Leela Kickball Club will face off against Neatoh Kickball Club in what is expected to be a fiercely competitive final. Both teams have shown impressive form throughout the season, setting the stage for a dramatic conclusion to the league.
Neatoh KC, who had an underwhelming run in the Lottery Cup League, are aiming to redeem their season with silverware.
They played 16 league games, recording 14 wins and 2 losses, to finish second on the table with 44 points.
Leela KC, on the other hand, earned their spot at the top with 14 wins and 2 draws from their 16 matches, securing 46 points. Their victory over Ecclesia sealed their place as league leaders heading into the final game.
The highly anticipated match will ultimately decide who lifts the coveted LKF championship trophy. With just two points separating the sides, the title race remains wide open.
A draw will be enough for Leela to clinch the championship, while Neatoh must secure a win to overtake their rivals and claim the top spot.
Fans and pundits alike are divided, with both teams boasting talented and in-form squads. One thing is certain — the final whistle will be the ultimate decider in this battle for supremacy.
