MONROVIA – The Confederation of African Football and the Liberian Football Association have launched the women football refund for Liberian.
Its aim at addressing female inmate’s inclusion into women football.
The launch took place on Monday April 21, 2025 at the Monrovia Central Prison covering 23 female inmates who will undergo intensive License D Coaching course from April 21-27, 2025.
The women football refund training is meant to provide re-new hope for female inmates to have a path into women football coaching open their release from prison.
It will help with rehabilitation and reintegration to enable the women contribute to society after serving their sentences.
The activities were lunched by women football 3rd Vice President Jodie Reid Seton on behalf of the Liberia football Association.
Liberia national female team coach Selam Zeray and coach Educator officer of Liberia football Association will oversee the technical lessons of the inmates.
