MONROVIA – Over 23 female inmates at the Monrovia Central Prison went through one week of intensive women refund program football coaching course training.
It took place from April 23 to April 28, 2025.
The women refund program was launched by CAF and LFA to reintegrate and rehabilitate female inmates after serving terms in prison.
The training was conducted by Elite coaches from the Liberia football Association, including Liberia female national team coach Selam Z. Kebede.
Following the completion of the training on Monday April 28, 2025, CAF and LFA women refund program coaching committee bestowed License D coaching course certificate to participants.
Retina Capehart beneficiary of License D coaching course expressed excitement for the training and wished the trainers well.
“I’m ready excited to learned about football coaching through CAF and LFA women refund program. I’m ready to contribute to the beautiful game, Capehart said.
