Heartbroken Mother Appeals for Urgent Help to Save Daughter’s Life

By Sampson W. Weah – sampsonwweah7@gmail.com

Liberia A distraught Liberian mother is appealing to the public for urgent financial assistance to save her young daughter, Zianabu, who is battling a severe medical condition that cannot be adequately treated in Liberia.

Zianabu, a resident of Clara Town in District #14, Montserrado County, was diagnosed with fibro by doctors at John F. Kennedy (JFK) Medical Center in Monrovia.

Medical professionals have confirmed that she requires advanced and specialized treatment, which is currently unavailable in the country.

They have therefore recommended that she be taken abroad as soon as possible to receive proper medical care.

Unfortunately, her family cannot afford the high costs associated with overseas treatment, including travel and related medical expenses.

Zianabu’s mother, who has remained unwaveringly by her daughter’s side throughout this ordeal, described the situation as both painful and overwhelming.

“I approached Representative Kerkula Muka Kamara for assistance regarding my daughter’s condition, and he contributed 40 USD. My daughter had even voted for him,” she revealed, her voice heavy with emotion.

She is now appealing to government authorities, humanitarian organizations, religious institutions, and compassionate individuals to come to her aid.

“I am begging anyone who can help, no matter how small the contribution, to please help me save my daughter,” she pleaded. “This is my only hope. Without help, I may lose my child.”

The family remains hopeful that public generosity and compassion will give Zianabu a fighting chance at life.
