LFA Media Executives Complete WAFU Zone A Media and Marketing Workshop

Anthony Kokoi, Acting Media Manager and James B. Sillah, Media Officer of the Liberia Football Association (LFA) have completed the West Africa Football Union Zone A (WAFU A) Media and Marketing Workshop, held in Conakry, Guinea, from 4-5 April, 2025.

The Liberia Football Association congratulated its media executives officially in a statement for their official completion of the workshop which aims to build on the skills of the media officers in the areas of marketing and media.

“The Liberia Football Association congratulates two of its media staff on the successful completion of the West Africa Football Union Zone A (WAFU A) Media and Marketing Workshop, held in Conakry, Guinea, from 4-5 April, 2025.”

Both Liberians were among 23 media and marketing officers from the nine WAFU A Member Associations (MAs) who participated in the two-day capacity-building workshop.

According to the LFA, the workshop was blended with both theoretical and practical sessions, aimed at strengthening the skills of media officers, with a special focus on their roles and responsibilities within CAF and WAFU Media Operations.

CAF Media and Marketing experts Mondher Chaouchi from Tunisia and Alieu Goloko from Senegal served as facilitators for the workshop.

“The LFA extends its heartfelt appreciation to WAFU A for organizing such an initiative, which significantly contributes to enhancing the capacity of our staff, aligning with our goal of developing football at all levels.” The statement concluded.
