Lofa County – The Lofa County Health Team has received a significant donation of medical supplies and essential medicines from the JNB Foundation, aimed at strengthening healthcare delivery across key health facilities in the county.
The donation will benefit Konia Health Center, Foya Health Center, Vahun Health Center, Tellewoyan Memorial Hospital, and Wonsonga Clinic.
Among the supplies were hospital beds, a delivery bed, suturing sets, and other essential medical equipment.
The medicines included Ciprofloxacin IV, Flagyl IV, and intravenous fluids such as Normal Saline (NS) and Ringer’s Lactate (RL).
Health authorities in Lofa described the intervention as timely, noting that the materials will help improve patient care and ease some of the challenges faced by frontline health workers.
The Lofa County Health System extended its appreciation to the JNB Foundation for what it described as “continuous and impactful support” to Liberia’s health sector.
