PAYNESVILLE CITY – Mighty Invisible Kickball Club has emerged as the 2024/2025 Liberia Kickball Federation Paynesville Sub-Association champions after an outstanding season and a decisive win in the final.
The champions played 16 games, winning 13, drawing 2, and losing just 1—an impressive run that culminated on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, with a commanding 10–6 home run victory over Chappy Kickball Club at the SKD Sports Complex in Paynesville.
Lifting the championship trophy wasn’t the only reward for the “Invisible Girls” — their triumph also secured promotion to the Federation’s Second Division League for the 2025/2026 season.
Team captain Lovetee Teeba expressed optimism about the club’s future, praising the unity and determination of her teammates. She also issued a confident warning to future opponents in the Second Division.
“The bravery, commitment, and mindset we have can penetrate any opponent. We’re going into the league not just as individuals, but as a united force ready to defeat any team. Let me send this caveat to teams already in the tournament: don’t underestimate us — we have the power to eliminate you on the pitch,” she declared boldly.
Head Coach Daniel Yarbah Thomas described the championship as a dream come true and promised an even more impressive showing in the upcoming season. He called on supporters and team members to rally together as they prepare for the challenges of League II.
Meanwhile, excitement continues to build around the National Lottery Authority Kickball Knockout competition, with Naetoh set to face Destiny KC of Montserrado in an upcoming clash. The official date is yet to be announced.
