Greenville, Sinoe County — Sinoe County has taken a major step toward environmental protection and climate resilience with the official launch of the Sinoe Building Climate Resilient Project (SBCRP) in Greenville.
The event brought together county officials, community leaders, students, youth groups, and environmental stakeholders to support initiatives aimed at tackling climate change while improving local waste management systems.

During the program, SBCRP Enterprise Development Officer, Mr. James Jasay, highlighted that the project seeks to help communities adapt to climate challenges while generating income through structured waste management enterprises.
He emphasized that active community participation will be central to the initiative’s success.
Project Manager Mr. Clarence Powell added that SBCRP will prioritize climate education, public awareness campaigns, and direct support to waste management groups to promote responsible environmental practices.
As part of the launch ceremony, Eco Track Solutions received essential tools—including tricycles, wheelbarrows, computers, and protective gear—to strengthen its operations.
Additionally, trash cans were distributed to ten schools to encourage proper waste disposal and instill environmental responsibility among students.
The initiative represents a significant milestone toward building a cleaner, safer, and climate-resilient Sinoe County, reflecting the county’s commitment to sustainable development and community-driven environmental solutions.
