His remarks will also highlight ongoing efforts to strengthen a unified African voting bloc at the IMO headquarters in London, United Kingdom.

Discussions at the summit are further focusing on broader global maritime concerns, with particular attention to advancing Africa’s Blue Economy and developing strategies to attract investment into the sector.

The Liberian delegation includes Mrs. Grace Vaye Nuhn, Technical Officer at Liberia’s Permanent Mission in London and focal person to AAMA’s Working and Drafting Groups.

The Association of African Maritime Administrations comprises 44 African member states with significant maritime interests and represents the largest voting bloc within the International Maritime Organization.
