NEC Chairperson’s Nationwide Tour Reaches Rivergee, Maryland, and Grand Kru Counties

By: Staff Writer

Southeast Liberia – The Chairperson of the National Elections Commission (NEC) of Liberia, Madam Davidetta Browne Lansanah, has continued her nationwide tour, with recent visits to Rivergee, Maryland, and Grand Kru Counties.

The purpose of the tour is to assess the working conditions of NEC’s Magisterial Offices in the Southeast and to identify operational and logistical challenges.

Madam Browne Lansanah and her team are engaging directly with local NEC staff to understand their needs and determine how best the Board of Commissioners (BOC) can provide support.

This ongoing initiative not only aims to improve internal operations but also to increase the visibility and presence of NEC in rural and underserved communities across Liberia.

The Chairperson’s visit underscores NEC’s commitment to transparency, inclusivity, and the strengthening of Liberia’s democratic processes at all levels.
