In his remarks, Representative Yogboh reaffirmed his commitment to fulfilling the promises made during the 2023 legislative campaign.
He stated that the project, which he said was funded from his personal resources, reflects his determination to deliver tangible results to his constituents.
“This is more than a building. It is a symbol of hope, unity, and progress for the Riverview Community,” he said.
“I remain committed to ensuring that every promise made during the campaign is delivered before 2027. This town hall is just the beginning.”
According to the lawmaker, the facility will serve as a central hub for community engagement, providing a permanent venue for town hall meetings, public consultations, dispute resolution sessions, and civic education initiatives.
The hall is also expected to host youth and women’s programs, health awareness campaigns, and other activities aimed at promoting social cohesion and community empowerment.
Speaking on behalf of residents, Community Chairman Miller praised the lawmaker for what he termed visionary leadership and for prioritizing community welfare.
Several speakers described the initiative as a demonstration of accountable leadership and a recognition of the role infrastructure plays in sustainable development.
“We are grateful for this remarkable investment in our community,” a local elder said during the ceremony. “This town hall will bring us together and create opportunities for dialogue, growth, and collaboration.”
Residents say the new facility is expected to transform how the community interacts with its leadership by providing a centralized space for dialogue, planning, and implementation of development initiatives.
The dedication of the Riverview Community Town Hall comes as Representative Yogboh continues his first term in the House of Representatives, with supporters describing the project as evidence of his pledge to prioritize action over rhetoric.
For many in District 12, the completion of the town hall signals renewed optimism and sets the stage for additional development initiatives aimed at improving livelihoods and strengthening local governance.
