BONG COUNTY –A disturbing discovery was made at the Phebe Hospital compound in Suakoko District, Bong County, where the lifeless body of an unidentified man was found inside a parked vehicle on the hospital grounds.
According to reports, the corpse was discovered in the front seat of the vehicle, dressed only in boxer shorts. The discovery was made after security personnel from the County Health Team noticed a foul odor coming from the car.
The vehicle is reportedly owned by Nyanquoi Urey, a staff member of the County Health Team who is currently in China. Bong County Health Services Administrator, Sam Siakor, confirmed that the car had been parked at the location since early May.
“This vehicle belongs to one of our senior staff, Nyanquoi Urey, who recently traveled to China,” Siakor told journalists.
Police in Bong County have launched an investigation into the incident. The body has been taken to the St. Moses Funeral Parlor in Gbarnga for preservation and further examination.
Meanwhile, Bong County Police Commander has appealed to the public for assistance in identifying the deceased.
