According to LKF President Surprise Whea, the tournament is intended to showcase emerging talent, strengthen the competition, and decide which teams will qualify for either League I or League II.

The playoffs will officially kick off with a grand parade, after which teams, supporters, and executives will converge at the David Konyon Sports Pitch.

Bong County Senator Johnny Kpehe is expected to take the ceremonial kickoff.

Whea disclosed that: Three teams will gain promotion to League I and Six teams will secure their spots in League II.

He urged all participating teams to strictly adhere to the rules of the competition, noting that the playoffs come at a time when the federation is preparing to regionalize the sport across Liberia.
