The Lone Star entered the match determined to reverse the outcome of their previous encounter, which had ended in a narrow defeat. Under the guidance of their newly appointed head coach, the team responded with a confident and attacking display from the opening whistle.

Midfielder Sebastian Teclar gave Liberia the breakthrough before forward Ayoubah Kosiah extended the lead, putting the hosts in firm control of the contest. Both players celebrated their goals with a popular Ghanaian dance, drawing loud cheers from the crowd.

Liberia continued to press forward and were rewarded when defender Philip Tarnue found the net for the first time in his senior international career. His goal made it 3-0 and capped an outstanding evening for the young defender.

Sierra Leone managed to pull one back late in the match, but the visitors never seriously threatened Liberia’s dominance.

The victory marked a successful response from the Lone Star after their first-leg loss and provided a positive conclusion to the international window.

With three goals and an encouraging all-round performance, Liberia left supporters optimistic about the team’s progress under its new technical leadership.
