RIVERCESS COUNTY – Former Minister of Public Works, Madam Ruth Coker Collins, has officially launched the Tabitha Vocational Training Institute in Cestos City.

The event brought together local authorities, educators, and community leaders to witness the formal opening of the institute, which aims to provide practical skills and vocational training to youth and women in the region.

Madam Collins, a strong advocate for education and empowerment, emphasized the importance of vocational training as a means of creating opportunities and reducing unemployment in rural communities.

She stated that the Tabitha Vocational Training Institute is intended to empower and positively impact the lives of young people in River Cess County, stressing that the initiative is non-political in nature.

“The goal is to provide practical skills that will help young people become self-reliant and productive citizens,” she said.

Madam Collins also called on all citizens of River Cess to unite in the development of the county, declaring, “Together, we can build a better River Cess—one that will once again produce giants and talented youths who will contribute to the progress of Liberia.”

She further expressed her commitment to youth empowerment, saying, “I am willing to collaborate with all sons and daughters of River Cess to support our young people through vocational skills training.”
