Representative Nathaniel N. Bahway, a stalwart of the ruling establishment, commended President Joseph Boakai for fulfilling his development commitments to the Liberian people, describing the move as a significant milestone in the country’s infrastructure development drive.

Speaking following the arrival of the first consignment of the equipment, the District #1 lawmaker expressed gratitude to President Boakai for demonstrating strong leadership and pledged his continued support for the initiative.

He described the arrival of the machines as tangible evidence of the government’s commitment to national development, particularly in improving road connectivity across the country.

Representative Nathaniel Zoe Behway, Sr. said the earth-moving machines will play a critical role in enhancing road construction and rehabilitation nationwide, especially in rural areas such as Grand Kru County, where poor road conditions have long posed serious challenges for residents.

“The arrival of these machines is a clear demonstration of the President’s commitment to improving infrastructure and enhancing the living conditions of Liberians,” Hon. Bahway said. “This initiative will help open up communities, improve access to markets, healthcare facilities, and schools, and also promote economic growth.”

The Grand Kru lawmaker further noted that improved road connectivity will boost economic activities, facilitate the easier transportation of goods and services, and strengthen national development efforts.

He also called on relevant government agencies to ensure the proper management and maintenance of the equipment so that citizens across Liberia can fully benefit from the initiative.

Representative Nathaniel Zoe Behway, Sr. reaffirmed his full support for the government’s development agenda and expressed optimism that the equipment will significantly contribute to transforming Liberia’s infrastructure landscape.

The arrival of the first batch of earth-moving equipment marks a major step in the government’s ongoing efforts to modernize Liberia’s infrastructure and improve nationwide connectivity.
