SUAKOKO, BONG COUNTY –  Liberia’s Minister of Education, Dr. Jarso Maley Jallah, delivered a powerful and visionary keynote address at Cuttington University’s 63rd Commencement Convocation, held at the institution’s main campus in Suakoko.

Her remarks electrified the audience—graduates, faculty, families, and national stakeholders—as she challenged the 707 new graduates to become trailblazers for change within their communities and beyond.

In her address, Dr. Jallah emphasized the pivotal role of education in shaping Liberia’s future. She urged graduates to rise above personal ambition and lead lives grounded in integrity, service, and innovation.

“Let your education be a tool to solve real problems,” Dr. Jallah declared. “Lead with integrity, act boldly, and collaborate with purpose. Liberia’s transformation lies in the hands of those willing to serve selflessly and think beyond limitations.”

The convocation celebrated the academic achievements of graduates from Cuttington’s three campuses—Suakoko, Monrovia, and Kakata.

Suakoko led the count with 254 graduates across various disciplines, including Agriculture and Sustainable Development (15), Business and Public Administration (42), and Health Sciences (93).

Cuttington University President Dr. Romelle A. Horton offered heartfelt congratulations to the Class of 2025, applauding their resilience and dedication amid evolving academic and societal challenges.

“You leave here not just with degrees, but with the mindset and tools to lead, serve, and innovate,” Dr. Horton said. “Your journey ahead is vital to building a more resilient and prosperous Liberia.”

The day concluded with celebration, hope, and a renewed sense of purpose, as the graduates stepped confidently into the next chapter of their lives—ready to be agents of change for their nation and the world.
