GRAND KRU – The Liberia Land Authority (LLA), River Gee County branch, under the leadership of Mr. George Gbeti, has launched a robust public awareness campaign aimed at promoting the importance of lawful land surveying and ownership.
The initiative seeks to educate residents across the county on the legal procedures required to secure land rights and the long-term benefits of formal land documentation.
Mr. Gbeti emphasized that legal land acquisition plays a critical role in reducing disputes and protecting property rights.
He noted that a large number of land conflicts in Liberia stem from informal ownership and undocumented claims—challenges that can be effectively addressed through proper land surveying and registration.
Since taking office, Mr. Gbeti has brought extensive expertise and technical knowledge to the LLA’s operations in Fish Town City.
His proactive leadership and community engagement have strengthened public trust and support, resulting in increased cooperation from local stakeholders.
Residents have welcomed the campaign, recognizing it as a vital step toward strengthening land governance and securing legal ownership for property holders throughout River Gee County.
