Man Killed by Falling Tree During Logging Operation in Dweh Village

River Gee county – A 34-year-old man, identified as Charles Katieh, tragically lost his life after being struck by a falling tree during a logging operation in Dweh Village, commonly known as Palm Wine Village in River Gee county.

According to reports, Katieh was assisting a power saw operator when the tree unexpectedly deviated from its intended path and struck him with fatal force.

Local authorities quickly convened a 15-member jury to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.

After conducting their examination, the jury concluded that Charles Katieh died instantly from the impact of the tree.

Following the investigation, the body was released to the family for burial.
