According to the company, since the outbreak of Mpox, it has been actively supporting national response initiatives within and around its concession area in Grand Bassa County.
The management emphasized that public health crises require strong coordination, trust, and rapid mobilization—particularly in remote areas where access to healthcare services can be limited.
LAC noted that companies operating in such communities have a responsibility to collaborate closely with national authorities to ensure timely and effective interventions.
The rubber plantation company highlighted its efforts in supporting local healthcare systems, facilitating public awareness campaigns, and enabling access to response mechanisms as part of its broader commitment to sustainable plantation management.
The agricultural firm expressed gratitude to Liberian health authorities for what it described as their leadership throughout the outbreak. It reaffirmed its commitment to contributing, where necessary, to collective national efforts aimed at protecting both surrounding communities and its workforce.
The company also extended appreciation to its employees and response teams for their hard work and dedication during the public health emergency.
Liberia continues to strengthen surveillance and response measures as health authorities work to contain the spread of Mpox across affected communities.
