He outlined the examination timetable, with the 9th-grade exams scheduled for 20–21 April, followed by the 3rd-grade exams on 22 April, and the 6th-grade exams from 23–24 April 2026.

The 12th-grade West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) is due to begin on 1 June.

Mr Gbotoe said 57,393 candidates have registered for the 12th grade exams, 55,000 for the 9th grade, and 40,963 for the 3rd grade.

He added that all eligible students, from both public and private schools, are covered under the examination policy. WAEC has also urged students and parents to report any schools demanding unauthorized fees.
