Speaking on the Tuesday edition of the OK Morning Rush, Mr Cummings said agriculture should be the top priority on the national agenda and argued that current budget allocations do not reflect the sector’s importance.

He pointed to an initial allocation of about 30 million US dollars for agriculture, with only a small addition in the supplemental budget, as evidence of what he described as a lack of seriousness.

Mr. Cummings also criticized government spending, saying increased revenues are still being directed towards recurrent costs and operations, rather than investments that directly benefit citizens.

He questioned why more funding is not being directed towards key sectors such as electricity, water systems, tourism and agriculture, as well as improving wages for civil servants.

Meanwhile, Mr Cummings dismissed allegations about his personal life and political character as false and politically motivated.
