Civil Society Leaders in Bomi Make Urgent Appeal for Critically Ill Young Man

‎By: Peter Darblo ‎

BOMI COUNTY – Two prominent civil society advocates in Bomi County have issued a heartfelt appeal on behalf of a 29-year-old man, Varney Juniordoski Sirleaf, who is battling severe health complications.

The advocates, Moses Sah and Augustus Momo—known for their consistent efforts in promoting community welfare—are calling on humanitarian organizations, government agencies, and compassionate Liberians to urgently provide medical assistance.

According to Sah and Momo, Sirleaf has been suffering from an undisclosed illness for several months, with minimal access to adequate healthcare and financial resources. They warn that his condition has reached a critical point and requires immediate intervention to prevent further deterioration or even death.

“This is a matter of life and death,” said Moses Sah. “We cannot afford to stand by while a young life slips away due to a lack of medical care. It is our collective responsibility to act.”

The civil society leaders are urging the public not to remain silent and to join in the effort to save Sirleaf’s life.

They are also appealing to local media, churches, and community-based organizations to help amplify his story and mobilize support.

To facilitate contributions, Sah and Momo disclosed that a dedicated mobile money number and bank donation account have been made available for anyone willing to assist with Sirleaf’s medical care.
