GRAND BASSA COUNTY — A high-level meeting was held Wednesday at the Administrative Office of Superintendent Karyou Johnson, bringing together top executives of Deenam 𝘽𝙞𝙤𝙢𝙖𝙨𝙨 and local government officials to chart a course for the company’s upcoming operations in Liberia.

The gathering marked a pivotal moment in the collaboration between the private sector and local authorities, signaling a strong commitment to job creation and sustainable development.

Leading the Deenam 𝘽𝙞𝙤𝙢𝙖𝙨𝙨 delegation was Company President Mr. Martins, accompanied by Mr. Joe Lawson, Mr. Nelson Hill, and P. Maxwell Vah.

During the meeting, both sides expressed readiness to commence setup activities, initiate recruitment processes, and begin basic administrative and technical groundwork for Deenam’s operations in the region.

The company’s entrance into the Liberian market centers on an innovative and environmentally conscious mission: the transformation of Liberia’s vast, unused rubber-wood trees into a valuable source of renewable energy.

These non-producing trees, long considered waste by the rubber industry, represent an untapped resource with significant economic potential.

Deenam’s operations are poised to make a multifaceted impact. In addition to job creation, the company pledged to implement robust corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs and other community interventions.

County officials expressed optimism about the venture, emphasizing the importance of partnerships that drive sustainable economic transformation.

Superintendent Karyou Johnson hailed the meeting as “a positive step toward inclusive growth and a greener future for Liberia.”

With the groundwork now underway, stakeholders are hopeful that Deenam’s project will serve as a model for sustainable industrial development, balancing profitability with environmental stewardship and community empowerment.
