CHANGSHA, CHINA – As part of ongoing efforts to deepen international cooperation and elevate the work of women journalists in Liberia, FeJAL President Madam Lisa Tenneh Diasay today signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement on News Reporting with Hunan Changsha Online New Media Co. Ltd.

The landmark partnership aims to strengthen bilateral ties between Liberia and China, while providing a global platform for the work of Liberian women journalists.

Under the agreement, Hunan Changsha Online New Media will publish and broadcast verified content produced by women journalists in Liberia through FeJAL (the Female Journalists Association of Liberia).

The cooperation will also include joint international news and publicity reporting activities, enabling both Liberian and Chinese journalists to spotlight stories across both countries.

“This is a major achievement for our members in Liberia,” said Madam Diasay. “Their work will now be published and shared in China, and vice versa.

It will be a valuable experience for them to highlight strategic stories about Liberia—stories that can help attract investment and promote our country on a global scale. I’m truly excited.”

The agreement was signed at the close of a two-week Media and Communication Seminar for 30 Liberian journalistsin Changsha City, China.

The seminar was part of a broader exchange program designed to enhance professional collaboration and capacity building between both nations’ media sectors.
