By: Gabriel Parker

Tubmanburg, Bomi County – The Liberian Government Ministry of Transport has announced that it will construct Commercial Hub in County Bomi County.

The regional office will serve residents of Bomi, Gbarpolu and Grand Cape Mount County who are faced with the hurdle of travelling to Monrovia to process vehicle documents and carry on other transport related activities.

In an interview will local journalists of the region, the Ministry of Transport Communication Director said the regional hub, once constructed, will significantly ease the burden on drivers and motorcyclists who currently travel to Monrovia to register their vehicles.

To facilitate the speedy implementation of the project, Brown revealed that the National Legislature has allocated two hundred thousand United States dollars for its construction in Klay Town, Bomi County.

The primary objective of the hub is to decentralize government activities, particularly those of the Ministry of Transport, making essential services more accessible to people in the western region.

Additionally, Brown noted that the hub’s establishment will create job opportunities for residents in the region, contributing to economic growth and development.
