The laboratory provides students with hands-on experience using modern scientific equipment, bridging the gap between theoretical instruction and practical application.
Speaking during the dedication ceremony, Mr. Dukuly emphasized the critical importance of science education as a catalyst for national growth and sustainable development.
He noted that investment in education, particularly in science and technology, is essential to preparing Liberia’s young people to compete in a rapidly evolving global environment. He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting educational institutions that promote knowledge, discipline, innovation, and national service.
As an alumnus of Muslim Congress High School, Mr. Dukuly described the project as both a moral responsibility and the fulfillment of a long-standing desire to give back to the institution that played a pivotal role in shaping his character, values, and leadership journey.
He encouraged students to take full advantage of the facility, stressing that the laboratory represents opportunity, responsibility, and hope for the future.
Mr. Dukuly also expressed appreciation to President Joseph Nyuma Boakai for the opportunity to serve the Liberian people, stating that public service must be driven by a genuine desire to make a lasting and positive impact on society, particularly in the education sector.
School administrators, teachers, students, and community leaders welcomed the initiative, describing it as a transformative investment that will significantly improve science education at the institution.
They praised Mr. Dukuly for his generosity and vision, noting that the laboratory will inspire academic excellence and better prepare students for careers in science, technology, engineering, medicine, and other related fields.
The dedication of the science laboratory stands as a testament to the power of private initiative in strengthening Liberia’s educational system and empowering the next generation of national leaders.
