Hon. Damaro donated 19 bags of 25-kilogram rice and LRD$40,000 to support the farmers and strengthen the farm’s daily operations.

He said the donation is intended to help sustain the farmers’ efforts, promote community self-reliance and support local food production.

The assistance was received with songs and celebrations, as farm leaders, community elders and residents expressed appreciation for the gesture.

They said the donation would help provide food for workers and meet some of the project’s operational needs.

The community representatives also thanked Hon. Damaro and former President George Manneh Weah for what they described as continued support for grassroots communities.

They said the assistance would go a long way toward sustaining the God-Willing Agriculture project and encouraging the farmers to continue contributing to local food production.
