MONROVIA – Ex-President George Weah has warned that any attempts to undermine, ignore or dismiss the Supreme Court ruling into the Bill of Information filed by House Speaker Fonati Koffa threatens the very foundation of Liberia.
He said action of such risks plunging Liberia into a constitutional crisis—a crisis that the country’s fragile peace, hard-won stability, and democratic progress cannot withstand.
“I call on President Joseph Boakai and his administration to respect this ruling and uphold constitutional order. Ignoring or rejecting the authority of our judiciary undermines the sovereignty of our Constitution and endangers our collective peace with dire consequences.” The Ex-President Weah said.
